With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Clyde Maechtlen of Clearwater, Kansas, who passed away on November 16, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Maechtlen and Adelene Maechtlen (Smith); his sisters, Ruth Hackerott-Marlett, Vivian Rink and Norma Bonham; and his daughter-in-law Victoria Maechtlen.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Maechtlen (Schmidt); his children, Linda Hill (Ted) of Milton, Steven Maechtlen of Pratt and Michelle Cochran (John) of Mission; his grandchildren, Tracy Comeaux (Gerren), Kendra Wolff (Jason), Tamara McGillicuddy (Justin), Krystal Gruenwald (Josh), Katie Hill, Kyle Maechtlen (Sadie), Kelly Shorten (Scott), Ben Cochran and Kenny Cochran (Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Kale, Cooper, Gracie, Kenlee, Madison, Addie, Jaxon and Claire.
