He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Donald Tjaden and Annie Mardelle Harrington Tjaden; and his siblings, Vicky A. Waldschmidt and Jacob Donald "Jake" Tjaden, II. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Bowers (Jesse) of Salida, CO, Jessica Tjaden of Wichita, Shelly Mueller (Fred) of Burns and April Lance (Reagan) of Sedgwick; his brother Randy Tjaden (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Peyton Bowers, Jaden Bowers, Caleb Hale (Aprille), Braydan Hale (Rachel), Lexi Hale and Brittany Lance; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Hale and Brynnlie.
