It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hockett II of Clearwater, Kansas, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hockett and Selma Hockett (Johnson); his half-sisters, Bette J. Finley and Nancy Porter; his uncle Parks; and his aunt Madge Harrington.

He is survived by: his wife Chris Hockett; his stepdaughters, Shannon Richardson (Tony) of Harwood, MD, Mellanee Welty (Michael) of Gainesville, FL and Heather Muller (Brett) of Milford, NE; and his granddaughter Braelynn Muller. He is also survived by nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

“Even though I couldn’t make the visitation tonight or the funeral tomorrow, I just want to let you know that I’ll be there in spirit. George was great guy and its hard to believe he’s gone. I’m so sorry. He had a great Devil may care laugh and was a great fun-loving cut up. I’m hearing his laugh while I type this. 😂. So Glad I met both him and his great friend Phil Frazier 25 years ago and were able to spend some real good quality time with y’all over the years. .”
