He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dan Potgieter and Anne Potgieter; his siblings, Benjamin, Rita Steyn, Elize Erasmus and Lynette Pretorius; his wife Debra Vivien Matthysen; his children, Naomi Lucas, Lidia Potgieter, Desré Mayer and Daniel Matthysen Potgieter; and his grandchildren, Liam, Adam, Noah Lucas, Anthony, Kylee Parsons, McKayla, Bianca, Ian, Sterling, Quintin Mayer, Esmari and Addison Potgieter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Berean Assembly (1215 W Carey Ln, Wichita, KS 67217).
