He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee Strickland and Thelma May Strickland (Lindsey); and his siblings, Darlene Strickland, Lorene Patton, Jack Strickland, Calvin Strickland, Carol Brown, Nancy Collins and Melvin Strickland.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Strickland (Bonnie) of Argonia and Gail Kirby (Jeff) of Wichita; his siblings, Larry Strickland (Donna) of Oswego, Leon Strickland (Kim) of Enid, OK and Naomi Carter (Andy) of Chetopa, KS; his grandchildren, Andrew Tucker, Amanda Green (Patrick), William Strickland, Reesa McGarrah (Nick), Connor Kirby, Caylee Kirby and Rebecca Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Aubrey, Madison, Brantley and Rhett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
