He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Uvah Smith (Julian); and his sister Mary Shepler. He is survived by: his wife Cherlyn; his children, Scott Smith of Clearwater, Mike Smith of Clearwater and Julie Smith (Josh Wright) of Wellington; and his siblings, Laura Blanchant (Gary) of Wichita, Karla Ackerman (Gary) of Wichita, Rhonda Moore (Tim) of Wichita, Walt Smith (Mary) of Leon and Phil Smith (Cara) of Wichita. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
