It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Whitesell (Clearwater, Kansas), who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Joseph Simon and Hanna Marjorie Johnson Simon; her husband James Everett Whitesell; her children, Russell, James Dale and Barbara Dilts; her siblings, Richard Simon and Jeanne Baker; and her grandson Jacob Whitesell.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Whitesell (Kelly) of Wichita, Valerie Jones of Clearwater and Ann Johnson of Clearwater; her sister Marilyn Lies of Wichita; and her children-in-law, Sonny Dilts of Wichita and Anna Whitesell of Northern Ireland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
