She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Nelson and Gladys Nelson (Bloom); her grandparents, Albert and Laura Bloom; and her siblings, Dwight, Marlin, Ronald, Merrill, Carroll, Darrell, Wendell, Terry Nelson, Delores Norton, Mona Lee Patrick, Vivian Samford and Diane Kelley.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Reed of Clay Center, KS.; and her siblings, Larry Nelson of Manhattan, KS., Shirley Ham, Sue Smith of Townsend, TN and Sharon Kenney of Lenexa, KS..
