Rosemarie Gurney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemarie Gurney of Clay Center, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosemarie Gurney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Weir and Hazel Weir (Crout); her husband Clarence Gurney (Chuck); her son Michael Gurney; her siblings, Don Weir, William Weir, James Weir and Leila Larson; and her granddaughter Tracy Gurney.
She is survived by: her sons, David Gurney (Melissa) and Gary Gurney (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Christine Matteson (Gary); her brother Max Weir (Mary); and her grandchildren, Jessica Simmelink, Christopher Gurney, Sara Hammon, Nicole Edwards and Steven Gurney. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Kansas State School of the Blind and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
