Robert Slingsby Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Slingsby of Clay Center, Kansas, who passed away on July 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Slingsby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Slingsby and Mae Irene Slingsby (Limbrey); his brother Warren Slingsby; and his brother-in-law Ed Beswick. He is survived by: his wife Erlene Slingsby of Clay Center; his children, Alan William Slingsby (Tylene) of Clay Center and Amy Otey (Rick) of Park City; his grandchildren, Alexandra Greenwood (Justin), Greysyn Martin, Maeleigh Slingsby, Joseph Otey (Anisia) and Rhys Otey; his great grandchildren, Luke and Lloyd Greenwood; his sister Elaine Beswick of Green; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Slingsby of Green.

Memorials may be made to the Clay Center Zoo and left in care with the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
