He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Margaret Lykins (Riechers) and Lynden Lykins; and his nephew Matthew Whitehead. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lykins; his sister Linda Lykins Whitehead (John) of Columbus, Nebraska; his nieces, Sarah Whitehead (Mike Patterson) of Loomis and Amy Whitehead Wagman (Jon) of Felton; and his great-nephew Cyrus Patterson of Loomis, California..
