She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Davidson and Iras Davidson (Kreider); and her siblings, LaDonna Kretz, Gretta Johnson and Vonley Davidson.

She is survived by: her husband Jay Mellies of Clay Center, KS; her children, Elizabeth Mellies of Winter Park, CO and Jay Mellies, II (Ellen) of Portland, OR; and her grandchildren, Cameron, Joshua and Annika.
