He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Johnson and Dorothy Wood Johnson; and his siblings, Judy, Peggy, Connie and James "Butch".
He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Kenneth Dean Johnson (Vicki) of Scottsdale, AZ and Vicki Clemons (Larry) of Clay Center, KS; his grandchildren, Zach Springer, Silas Springer, Heather Mulligan, Jake Johnson, Nick Johnson, Emilee Kurt and Faith Johnson; and his sisters, Wanda O'Haver of Farmington, IL and Sandra Powell (Louis) of Aledo. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Aledo Fire Department.
