Karen Gilbert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Gilbert (Clay Center, Kansas), born in Marysville, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her half-siblings, Jim Richardson, Clayton Glick and Joan Davis; and her grandson Tyler Green. She is survived by: her children, Greg Gilbert and Amy Green (Jim); her sister Charlotte Braddock (Dennie); her sister-in-law Connie Richardson; and her grandchildren, Matt Gilbert (Elizabeth), Corey Gilbert (Jazarae), Kayla Green, Naomi, Lennox and Sophia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home (918 7th St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (902 5th St, Clay Center, KS 67432).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay Center Utility Park Zoo.
