He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dowell and Ruth Lucille Burchett (Halsey); his son Heath Lee; his brother Virgil; and his granddaughter Jayden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeana Taylor (Brock) and Annetta Flax (Tom); his siblings, Dowell Burchett (Janet) and Ramona Steckman; and his grandchildren, Paden, Ryan, Jett, Tayleigh, Ty, Teagan and Amree. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home (918 7th St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Wakefield Methodist Church (406 6th St, Wakefield, KS 67487). A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery.
