We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Friesen-Bauer (Clay Center, Kansas), born in Salina, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank LeClair and Emma LeClair; her former husband Eric J. Friesen; and her husband Gail Bauer. She is survived by: her children, Larry Friesen (Martha) of League City, Texas, Linda Mailen (Gary) of Olathe, Kansas, Laura Rothstein (Mark) of Louisville and Leslie Friesen (Steven Spalding) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Kristopher Mailen (Stephanie), Jeremy Mailen, Julia Irzyk (Bryan), Lisa Goldberg (Matt), Andrew Spalding and Claire Spalding; her great grandchildren, Reagan Mailen, Aquila Mailen, Juliana Mailen, Rachel Goldberg and Molly Goldberg; and her stepchildren, Diana (Bob Williams), Bruce (Faun Bauer), Brian Bauer (Bobbi Patterson) and Pera Jo (Tom Rockefeller). She is also survived by her four children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy volunteered for many worthy causes throughout her life, including as Girl Scout troop leader, and for the American Cancer Society.
