He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Obenland and Goldie Obenland (Musselman); his son Douglas Obenland; and his siblings, Bob Obenland and Maxine Mott.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Obenland of Clay Center, Kansas.; and his sons, Dan (Margie Obenland) of Salina, Kansas., Dallas (Becky Obenland) of Waverly, Nebraska. and Darrin Obenland of Clay Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home.
