She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ramsey and Callie Ramsey (Walters); her husband Howard "Shorty" Gier; her son George Gier; her grandson Zayne McVey; and her son-in-law David Kendrick.
She is survived by: her children, John Gier of Clay Center, Kansas., Mary Kendrick of Lyons, Kansas. and Nancy (Gene Lee) of Clay Center; her daughter-in-law Patty Gier of Hutchinson; and her great great grandchild Many.
