He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Lee and Leone Edna Smith (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Lynnea Smith of Idana, Kansas; his children, Christine (Brady Wilson) of Littleton, Colorado, Aaron Smith of Wakefield, Kansas and Mike (Jessie Smith) of Clay Center, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jynnea Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Makayla Smith, Grant Smith and Lauren Smith; his great grandchild Peter Lucier; and his sisters, Rosa Staten of Tonganoxie, Kansas and Kathy VanHoozer of Kansas City, Kansas..
