He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Desmarais and Elaine Desmarais (Schafer); and his grandson Brett. He is survived by: his wife Annie Desmarais of Clay Center, KS; and his children, Lisa Desmarais of Concordia, KS and John (Darci Ihnen) of Clay Center.
