It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Frederick Oberle of Claflin, Kansas, born in Bushton, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Oberle and Lena Oberle (Feist); his son Richard Oberle; and his siblings, George Oberle, Joe Oberle, Tony Oberle, Oscar Oberle, Elmer Oberle, Robert Oberle and Agnes Marie Hickey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose; his children, Ray Oberle (Sandi) of Claflin, Patricia Schmidt (David) of Claflin and Christine Robl (Quentin) of Salina; his grandchildren, Tami Tully, Eric Schmidt, Travis Schmidt, Emily Perterson, Nicole Ball, Rebecca Brown, Kaylyn Price, Jacob Oberle, Megan Robl, Jared Robl and Tanner Robl; and his brother Paul Oberle of Kansas City, Kan.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, services, with Father Terrance Klein presiding, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Claflin Ambulance Fund, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, PO Box 146, Hoisington, KS 67544.
