With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Sovereign of Claflin, Kansas, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Sovereign to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max F. Schlessinger and Mary Schlessinger (Kafka); her husband Fred M. Sovereign; her daughter Kimberly Lynn Sovereign; her son-in-law Robert Johnson; and her siblings, Fred, Albert, Robert Schlessiger, Hannah Hieken, Elfreida Mantz, Emma Drews, Helen Lathrap and Rose Stehwien.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Johnson of Claflin, Maxine Everett of Wathena and Debra Krier of Claflin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
