He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oakland and Rose Pauline Kempke (Schneider); and his sister Sharon Kaye Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Janice I. Swalley; his sons, David Kempke (Denise) of Claflin, KS, Randy Kempke and Brad Kempke (Robin) of Johnson, KS; and his brother Wayne Kempke (Carol) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
