She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles August and Nora May Zwahl (Shumaker); her husband Richard Spencer; her son Kelly Spencer; and her brother Elvin Zwahl.

She is survived by: her daughter Myla K. Cole (Jim) of Circleville; and her granddaughter Erin Spencer of Omaha, Nebraska..
