With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vesta Carlene Wendel of Cimarron, Kansas, born in Copeland, Kansas, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Frazier and Myrl Frazier (Stebbins); her husband Donald; her daughter Candice Heckenlively; and her sisters, Deloris Frazier and Crystal Denton.
She is survived by: her son Travis Frazier Wendel (Dawn) of Cimarron; her grandchildren, Cody Wendel and Lindsay "Linnie" Wendel; her son-in-law Shane Heckenlively; and her sister Betty Meador. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Gideon's Bible Fund or Ford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
