It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Gene Neuschafer Sr. of Cimarron, Kansas, born in Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neuschafer and Dorothy Neuschafer (Schneider). He is survived by: his wife Joetta Thomas; his sons, Larry Neuschafer, Jr. (Charlotte) of Cimarron and Chuck Neuschafer (Audrey) of Andover, Kansas; his grandchildren, Ashley Ledford (Jacob), Dylan Neuschafer, Joshua Neuschafer, Annie Neuschafer, Alex Neuschafer (Megan Cornelsen), Kaleb Neuschafer (Hannah), Blake Neuschafer (Mady) and Emma Neuschafer; and also Darrel Neuschafer (Carol) of Kimberling City, Missouri.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel (919 N 5th St, Cimarron, KS 67835). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cimarron Christian Church (302 N Main St, Cimarron, KS 67835).
Memorials are suggested to Kansas Honor Flight in care of the funeral home.
