He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Samuel and Edith Fae Hardesty (Roberts); his brother Jack; his son-in-law Terry Perkins; and his great grandchild Emma Grace Unruh.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie of Cimarron; and his children, Shari Perkins of Dodge City, Sandy Unruh (Steve) of Cimarron, Debbie Lee of Garden City, Dee Ann Moran of Douglass and Steve Hardesty (Sandy) of Topeka. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
