It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daryl Dean Unruh of Cimarron, Kansas, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Unruh and Irene Mary Unruh (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, Rebecca (Brian Koehn) of Cimarron, Levi Unruh (Miranda) of Garden City and Kaitlin (Roman VanNahman) of Cimarron; his grandchildren, Ben, Eli Koehn, Scarlett, Avah Unruh, Cooper, Evie and Ezra VanNahman; and his siblings, Duane Unruh (Debbie) of Greeley, Colorado, Kenneth Unruh (Nancy) of Lewis, Cheryl Unruh of Montezuma and Darla Unruh (Larry) of Dalhart, Texas..

“Just yesterday we learned that Daryl had passed. We were very happy that he had just stopped in to see us at our store just a couple of weeks ago (and we had not seen him in several years mostly due to COVID). He was always one to be intentional about his visits and was good at making you feel special. Such a kind soul and we will miss seeing him! Prayers for the whole family as we know you will all miss him very much. Gavin & Kim Unruh Wish we could have been at his service.”
