It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Staats (Cimarron, Kansas), who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Neal; and her brothers, Ernie Kidwell, Jr. and Gene Kidwell. She is survived by: her husband Ron Staats of Cimarron; her children, Andy Staats of Albuquerque, Rod Staats (Kallie) of Cimarron and Kendra Willard (Reuben) of Midland; her sisters, Mary Kasselman (Paul) of Scott City, Valyndia Payne (Steve) of Scott City and Helen Trahern (Mike) of Cimarron; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Kidwell of Kearney and Joyce Kidwell of Maize.
