He was predeceased by: his parents, Leota Faler Headley and Luther B. Headley; his son Gary L. Headley; his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Harmon and Elwin Harmon; and his friend Audie Shearer.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Headley. He is also survived by sister and brother-in-law; two nephews and a niece.
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Southern State University to benefit the Gary Headley Scholarship or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
