He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Headley and Marilyn Sue Headley (Harmon) of Chetopa, Kansas.; his grandparents, Elwin, Hazel Harmon, Lute and Leota Headley; and his cousins, Cindy, Linda, Sharon and Dakota.
He is survived by: his aunt Darla; his uncle Carl C. Banzet; his cousins, Brian Banzet, Brett, Ann Banzet, Tracy and Troy Vandever The; and his pet Lucy Paul A.
Memorials are suggested to the Midwest Transplant Network or the Missouri Southern State University Foundation for the Gary Headley Scholarship benefitting students studying television and news production.
