Bertha Marie Dunn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 81, Bertha Marie Dunn of Chetopa, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bertha Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Pease and Alice Pease (Worley); her husband Donald Dunn; and her grandson Dewayne Dunn. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Adler (Jimmy) of Chetopa, Barbara Tirrell (Charles) of Chetopa and Buddy Dunn; and her siblings, Louise Ross of Wichita, KS and Thomas Pease of Welch, OK. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home (290 W 5th Ave, Welch, OK 74369). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakhill Cemetery.
