With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Earl Thompson (Cherryvale, Kansas), who passed away on March 20, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Mary Thompson (Clark); his daughter Racheal Thompson; his grandchildren, Pat Thompson and Hanna Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Haven Lee Bridges and Gracie Jo Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson of Cherryvale; his children, Patrick Thompson of Elk City, Anna Holt of Coffeyville and Shirley Reynolds of Independence; and his siblings, Jack Thompson of Altamont, Harold Thompson of Oklahoma and Ada Dunn of Georgia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested a memorial in Roy’s name be made to the St. Jude’s Cancer Center.
