She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon Hicks and Pearl Hicks (Wells); her husband James D. Huneycutt; her daughter Carol Huneycutt Ehlers; her son-in-law Brent Ehlers of Storm Lake, Iowa; her daughter Teresa Paul; her son-in-law Randy Paul of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Austin James Ehlers (Taylor) of Storm Lake, Iowa, Joshua Alstatt (Allyson) of Kansas City, Missouri, Anna Marie Ehlers of Columbus and Alex Paul of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; her great grandchild Magnolia LaVerna-Lea Ehlers of Storm Lake; her brother-in-law Gary Huneycutt of Gateway; and her brothers, Jay D. Hicks and Quincy E. Hicks. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
