She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Nicholson and Nora Nicholson (Blinn); her husband James Benedict Lickteig; her sisters, Esther Nicholson and Bertha Mallow; and her son-in-law Mario Lopez.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Mendoza of Cherryvale, Jimmy Lickteig (Frances) of Cherryvale and Jo Ann Lopez of Cherryvale. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
