In loving memory of Elizabeth L. Schaplowsky of Cherryvale, Kansas, who departed this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 94. Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Elizabeth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Elizabeth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Molidor and Elizabeth Molidor (Bauer); her son Terry Schaplowsky; and her son-in-law Ted Hill. She is survived by: her children, Karen Carpino (Randy) of Paragould, Arkansas, Gary Schaplowsky (Mary) of Liberty, Kansas, Cindy Hill of Parsons, Kansas and Tammy Blaich (Steve) of Coffeyville, Kansas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (202 S Liberty St, Cherryvale, KS 67335). A prayer will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery (202 S Liberty St, Cherryvale, KS 67335).
