He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Mitchell and Ruby Mitchell (Plotner); his wife Joyce Lynda Christine Ballew; and his siblings, Kenneth Mitchell of Coffeyville, Frank Mitchell (Debbie) of Coffeyville and Dorothy Mallow (Darrell) of Cherryvale. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
