He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Strickland and Barbara Strickland (Blackburn); and his brother Forrest "Sonny" Strickland. He is survived by: his son Brett Strickland (Aimee) of Cherryvale, Kansas; his stepsons, Josh Addis (Casi) of Cherryvale and Jesse Addis of Oswego, Kansas; his siblings, Steve Strickland (Linda) of Cherryvale, Janet Carter (Michael) of Mustang, Tori Armbruster (James) of Cherryvale and Tanna Boss (Greg) of Cherryvale, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Morgan and Jack Strickland of Cherryvale, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wickham Family Funeral Home - Cherryvale (216 E 4th St, Cherryvale, KS 67335). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Cherryvale Christian Church (318 E Main St, Cherryvale, KS 67335).
