He is survived by: his children, Melody Renee Buffington of Cherokee, KS and Mitchell James Buffington of Lawrence, KS; and his sisters, Pat Hansen of Augusta, KS, Lynn Giordano (Jim) of Arma, KS and Jo Peterson of Augusta, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
