He is survived by: his former wife Jodi Lewman; his children, Elizabeth Heacock (Matt) of Melbourne, FL, Clinton Cheney (Molli) of Frontenac, KS and Seth Cheney of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Chase Cheney, Colin Cheney, Madelyn Heacock and Amelia Heacock; his siblings, Mike Cheney of McCune, KS, Craig Cheney of Belton, MO, Roger Cheney of Frontenac, KS, Steve Cheney of McCune, KS and Kathy Mauro of Overland Park, KS; and his close friend Kim Hudlemeyer of Cherokee, KS..
