He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Cox and Opal Cox (Tarter); his wife Vera; his granddaughter Andrea Cox; and his siblings, Barb Billings, Dean, Rex and Tommy Cox.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Cox (Tammy), Kevin Cox (Darlene) and Kent Cox (Tori); and his half-sister Henrietta Hatch. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
