He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Vestering, and Josephine Vestering, Sr. (Kleewein); his former wife Marie Vestering; his wife Carol; his siblings, Joe, Jerry, Frank and Mary Ann Steffan; his nephews, Bill, David and Mathew; and his great grandchild JB Becker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Vestering (Evelyn) of Garden Plain, KS, Betty Pitman of Springfield, MO and Joan Mies of Wichita, KS; and his children, Brenda Beck (John) of Cheney, KS, Don (Brenda) of Wichita, Curtis of Cheney, Rick of Cheney, Steven of Cheney and Mark (Jill) of Georgia. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate monetary gifts to help with funeral expenses.
