He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda; and his siblings, Leroy Young, May Fansher, Elton Young, Burnita Adair, Ruth Estes, Quentin Young and Wilda 'Billie Conner.

He is survived by: his wife Nyla; his sister Betty Hill; his children, Linda Thompson (Keith) of Hutchinson, Rhonda Burris (Andrew) of Lansing, Jason Young (Anita) of Greeley, CO and Bryan Young; his grandchildren, Leah Perkhun (Kyle), Kraig Thompson (Lindsey), Gabriel Young, Carson Young, Kacia Young, Rachel Young, Landon Young, Jaci Burris and Cruz Burris; and his great grandchild Kody Perkhun.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman United Methodist Church and sent to Livingston Funeral Home.
