It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Mertes of Chautauqua, Kansas, born in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lawrence Melvin Crandall, Jr., Margaret Ava Mertes Hohn (Carr) and Lawrence Nicholas Mertes. He is survived by: his niece Presley Griffin; his nephews, Lee Mertes and Kannon Loftin; and his uncle Tracy Lyne Crandall. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
