He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Martinez and Juanita Martinez; and his siblings, Francisco Martinez, Victoria Martinez, Angelita Cabazo and Maria Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Francisca Perez of Chase, KS; his children, Luis Martinez of Chase, KS, Raul Martinez Jr. of Lyons, KS, Lasaro Martinez Sr. of Lyons, KS, Beatrice Olson of Lyons, KS, Janie Werner of Lyons, KS, Sally Lopez of Lyons, KS and Mary Lopez of Topeka, KS; and his sisters, Lupe Martinez and Margarita Rodrate. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Midland Hospice House, Topeka in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
