She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Ludwig and Mila Ludwig; her brothers, Elmer, Harold and Phil; and her husband Paul Magathan.
She is survived by: her children, Emmett Martin Magathan (Mary Beth), Charles Leo Magathan (Mary), Paul Joseph Magathan (Cheryl), Mary Barnes and Frances Imogene Devlin (Mike). She is also survived by 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Bennett Alexander Funeral Home (201 Cherry St, Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845). A rosary was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1782 225th Rd, Strong City, KS 66869). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (1600 Rd M5, Emporia, KS 66801).
