It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda West (Chapman, Kansas), born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Riggs and Mabel Riggs (Wilson); and her daughter Michelle West. She is survived by: her husband Bill West; her children, Paula Hopkins (Rod) of Abilene, Suzanne Hoekman (Vic) of Abilene, Steve West (Janet) of Abilene, J. D. West (Haley) of Abilene and Craig West (Jill) of Wichita; and her sisters, Sandra Patterson (Wallace) of Oxford and Janice Stengel (Joe) of Georgetown.
Family suggests memorials be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Abilene First United Methodist Church.
