She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elmer and Louisa Emerine Buchanan Harris; her husband Gib; and her siblings, Ray Harris, Vera Boyd and Jean Davis.
She is survived by: her former husband Gilbert C. Schlappy; her children, Ronald Gilbert Schlappy (Patricia) of Minocqua, Wisconsin., Melissa Kay Schlappy-Colborn (Steve) of Chapman, Kansas. and Kristena Marie Schlappy of Chapman, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Meagan Schlappy (Chris Turner), Melissa Tollefson (Tony), Jessalyn Colborn, Joe Wenger (Jessica) and Scott Colborn; and her great grandchildren, Kaylynn Schlappy, McKenzie Turner, Chase Turner and Walker Tollefson.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Chapman United Methodist Church or the Chapman Valley Manor.
