She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack L. George and Gladys George (Livengood); her husband Darold Petty; and her children, Richard, Martha and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Charlia Mitchner (Butch) of Chanute, KS, Charlie Smith (Ellen) of Loucust Grove, Virginia, Dennis Smith of Chanute, KS and Leona McBride of Gunnison; and her sisters, Linda Watson of Pittsburg, KS, Kathy Greenwood, Patty Swank of Pueblo and Donna LeCroy of Birmingham, Ala. She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great- grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS Family request memorials be made to American Heart Association and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
