He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Reed and Pearl Reed. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kathy Oliphant (Dennis) of Jet, Vicky Reed of Chanute and Vester Reed (Cheryl) of Chanute, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Shawn Oliphant, Richie Oliphant, Amanda Hawley, Aaron Thomas, Adrianne Dent, Lauren Reed, Heath Reed and Chase Reed. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been suggested to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
